Realization

NARCONON REALIZATION

On the path to sobriety there are many things that Narconon students learn about themselves through study and self examination. Each day in our drug rehab every student makes progress. Most usually as a student is progressing through the Narconon program they start to want to share their success. That is why every day students bring me success stories, in the hopes that they can get the word out to those who are addicted – Whatever drug you are addicted to, whether it be cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine or pot, the Narconon program offers a way out and they want to communicate this. Here is a success story.

“If I affect myself or my surroundings in a negative manner I can immediately attempt to resolve this and person a correction so that my overall actions are positive in the final result.

If one’s thoughts are skewed by drugs or something else their actions would complicate or make worse their interactions with their surroundings. With a skewed base, actions or reactions would be destructive, inconsistent, unreliable and unpredictable.

I am learning that while some of my initial actions could be impulse actions that I can go back and correct these actions, especially if I do not like the effect that was created on others.

Also, if I am constantly thinking about the past, then I begin to struggle with what I am trying to accomplish in the present. I am learning how to be in control of all of this.”

Making yourself happy

NARCONON REALIZATION

Here is another realization. Students on the Narconon drug rehab program learn about themselves and each realization is a stepping stone on the road to freedom from drugs. The destination is not only freedom from drugs, but a happy and productive life. It is their wish that others can find their way to this road and that is why these realizations are published daily. Whether a person is abusing heroin, pot, cocaine, methamphetamine, Oxyontin or xanax the Narconon students want you to know that there is an answer here.

“Even though I am learning that sometimes I have to follow someone else’s direction, I see that I can do that in a manner that suits me and makes me happy. I am learning to control those impulses to be disruptive. I see that if I realize my errors, I can adjust them and go on happily. I am learning that when I don’t understand something I can keep a pleasant face and demeanor and maintain good affinity while I am trying to understand what is expected of me.

Others around here are acting as a good role model for me and this is greatly appreciated.”

My Own Life

NARCONON REALIZATION

Here is another realization for the day. Each day my desk is filled with realizations of our Narconon students as they progress through their drug rehab program. They bring them to me to share, in the hopes that others will find similar freedom from addiction from heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine or any other drug of abuse.

“I am in charge of my life. I have been making my own decisions. And I feel they have been good ones lately. I am taking care of myself and doing what is right for me.

I first made the decision to go to Narconon. Then many morning before going to sauna I made the decision to go and stick with it. I followed through with that decision.

It makes me feel good know that I am also here for my course twin. I made the decision to e of any help that I could to him and I am following through. I can make a difference in other people’s lives. But I realize now that I can make the biggest difference in my own life.”

I won’t let you down

Letter from a student

Here is a letter that a Narconon drug rehab student wrote to his supervisor this week.

“Dear Abby,

I just wanted to really tell you thank you again. This week you really helped to open my eyes. I have been trying extremely hard and I hope you know that. I feel great about my program now – I really do. It makes me feel good when I am making progress. I am also thankful for the course twin you gave me. She is pushing me hard and helping me out so much. Even sometimes when I don’t feel like doing it she still helps me through it.

I am moving at such a great pace now and I will continue to do well.

Again, I just wanted to tell you thank you – I won’t let you down.”

Narconon staff members really care. Whether a person has abused cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, pot or alcohol Narconon staff members are here to help.

Student Realization

NARCONON REALIZATION

Here is another realization of a Narconon drug treatment student, written in the hopes that another person will be motivated to begin the Narconon program. Whether they are abusing crack, heroin, methamphetamine, pot or alcohol there are people out there who need the program and they can call 877-413-3073.

Here is the realization:

“In this class even though I’m following someone else’s direction I am doing it in a manner that suits me and makes me happy. Several times I thought of doing things to affect others but controlled my impulses to be disruptive and create problems for myself. I then continued to follow directions happily.

Other times in my life I made errors in what to interact with, but now I can realize when I make a mistake, adjust my actions and move on happily.

I have great affinity for my student assistant and she has affinity for me. This acts as a good reminder and model for my own actions. She is greatly appreciated.”

Narconon is the New Life Program and it is our goal to spread success as far and wide as possible. Call us – we can help.

Narconon Reflection

NARCONON DAILY REFLECTION

Today this Narconon drug treatment student moved one step closer to freedom from drugs by learning about himself and tapping into his inner self. Whatever the drug of abuse – cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, oxycontin or xanax the road out from addiction is clearly mapped for the Narconon student and each realization is a stepping stone.

“I am one with my environment. Today, not only am I one with my environment, but I realize that the choice is still mine on how I interact with each and every part of my environment. Whether it is negative or positive, the choice is mine. I am learning to make the right choices.

Even though I would like to affect everyone and everything in my environment in a positive way, I cannot control how I’m received in either my communication or my actions. I am learning to accept whatever happens and move on.

Starting Young

NARCONON REALIZATION

Each day our Narconon drug treatment students write down their realizations and many of them ask that we share them online. They want others to know that that they too can be free of addiction.

“Since the age of 13 when I began to believe that I “was not good enough” I set my ambition to be things like “big man on campus”, “the man” “the best” essentially anything but “being me” and accepting me. Because I did this, I’ve lived a life of setting my goals based on the evaluation or judgment of others. It was all connected to a warped, naïve, know it all attitude connected to not being good enough.

My new affirmation is that “I am good enough already”. This removes pressure and allows me to be more open in communication and conversation. I could give a litany of examples of my “know it all” failed decisions that have produced guilty feeling that further created pressure – failed decisions piled on top of failed decisions.

I know now that I can just be me and through my actions I’ve become who I am meant to be. I cannot create my image from who I should be to others. That image belongs to them.”

Gather your thoughts, learn about yourself and become drug free. The Narconon program is a workable way out of addiction for any drug of abuse – methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, pot, xanax or any drug of abuse.
