My day

My Monday at NARCONON has been pretty good I should say. Many of our students returned from being with their families over Thanksgiving and they really did well away from the program (of course I expected that, lol). Anyway, they are all back and ready to get on with their treatment. I love seeing them so excited to get off their drugs and/or alcohol. It really makes me realize how wonderful my job truly is. It actually started snowing today while I was at work and I couldn't believe. Snow in Central Georgia?? How does that happen?? Anyway, it was a nice change from the nasty rain we have been having for the last 3 days.

Today is Graduation Day!

Today at NARCONON is a great day! This afternoon we have a graduation. I always love graduation being able to see the graduate's family being so proud of them and seeing the graduate themselves so happy to be alive and sober.

Our facility is a small facility which makes getting to know each and every student so much easier. We have the one on one contact with each and every student which helps them out so much. I love getting to talk to everyone everyday. It is very rewarding for me.

Well, I am going to blog later today after graduation probably! I must get back to my job at NARCONON.

If you would like to talk to me just give me a call at 1-877-413-3073!

Graduation Friday

NARCONON had a graduation on Friday. It was wonderful. I love watching our students fulfill their commitment to get clean and stay off of drugs. This student in particular is a very happy and committed student. He is also going to be working at the housing that our students live in. NARCONON made a tremendous difference in his life and I got to watch his transformation myself. The first picture is of James and the other 2 graduates that have graduated in the last month from NARCONON. They are all drug free and they say they feel great! I do know they look great. Well, I will blog later. I am so excited about getting to work today at NARCONON.If you or someone you know needs help please call me at NARCONON at 1-877-413-3073.

My awesome Thursday

My awesome Thursday started as well as just about any other day here at NARCONON. It is usually one of the busiest days of the week for us here at NARCONON. It's the day we really try and get people in here to help them recover from drug and alcohol addiction before the weekend hits. We had 2 new students comes in today and several students complete different parts of the course here at NARCONON. It's great seeing the successful wins that our students are getting and the people calling just to get information for their friends and family. You really don't realize how much someone cares until they make that phone call. It's great. Well, it's time for me to start driving home in this nasty weather so I will blog tomorrow!drugsno.com, atlantarecoverycenter.com, narconon.org, drugsno.com/addiction.htm

My superb Monday

My super Monday here at NARCONON really was great. I got to see students come in from the weekend completely sober many of whom went home for visits with their families. I just talked to someone this morning and they said they had come to a realization that they are better sober than on drugs and she had never realized how much she had missed with her kids. That really made me feel good. The NARCONON program is really doing work in so many ways. We here at NARCONON are educating the public including schools and we provide a treatment center for those who need the help. It's great. I could not be happier where I work!

The last couple of days....

The last 2 days have been very stressful for me. I am doing all of my work for NARCONON at home. I can't find gas anywhere in Atlanta and if you happen to find it you will pay big time for it and wait for hours in line! It's ridiculous...Anyway, the only thing keeping me focused is the work at NARCONON that I do. At least some of it I can do from home. I can post blogs about addiction and getting help. I really enjoy helping people and I couldn't ask for a better way to help them than to help them get their lives back through NARCONON. I brings happiness all around to see someone graduation or see someone's family come and see them and the smiles all around because they know NARCONON is making such a difference in their lives. Well, I am going to get to work, I will blog later.

If you or someone you love has a problem contact NARCONON at 1-877-413-3073.

Monday at NARCONON

My Monday at NARCONON..It started out very well which for a Monday morning in Atlanta it's a good thing. Traffic wasn't bad at all and I actually got to work early. WOOHOOO! I came in and started working on all my work at NARCONON to get my week started off right. The students started coming in and they were really happy and go lucky for a Monday morning! I realized we had 5 more new students here at NARCONON which is always a good sign. It means that we are really on track to help people with their addictions. It makes me feel good knowing that they will succeed and join their families in a few months clean and sober! After all the introductions I proceeded through my day. We are going to have 1 graduation this week here at NARCONON and I am thrilled! I will definetely blog about that one this week. I got home at 7:15pm last night and had a great night with my kids and my husband. We watched wrestling (our Monday night thing as a family, I know redneck :-) ) I went to bed about 11:15pm and now I am back at work on this beautiful Tuesday morning. I am blessed to be here and today is going to be an awesome day.....

My Friday and beyond.....

My day at NARCONON started out just trying to get there. Here in Atlanta there is no gas to be found and when you find it you have to wait an hour or longer to get it. It is so ridiculous! Anyway, I made it to NARCONON on time and immediately started setting up for what would be a very productive day at NARCONON. We had 2 student birthdays which is always fun. It's always nice to see the students drug-free, many celebrating there birthdays sober and clean for the first time since childhood. It really brings a smile to your face to see them happy and they know that NARCONON really does care about them. I worked really hard yesterday and left work and didn't get home for 3 hours because you guess it GAS! I mean geez....How am I suppose to help these people if I can't even do anything. But I have gas now and I am home and today is Saturday and I plan on spending it with my boys! I go back to NARCONON on Monday.....

My day....

My day at NARCONON was my first day back in the office for a couple of days which always makes for a hectic start to the day. Today at NARCONON was very productive however. I talked to several family members about helping get their family members off drugs and I even talked to a probation officer who is going to recommend sentencing to our facility because of th 76% success rate. I love seeing people walk out of NARCONON drug free and/or alcohol free. They just fall into their famliies arms and it warms my heart. Today I made sure more radio stations got our new Public Service Announcement about the danger of Prescription Drugs that is on the rise with our teenagers. It is truly a scary thought! I am just thankful for the opportunity to help everyone whip the addiction. Well, it's time to get the kids ready for bed and then it's off to bed for me and the hunt for gas in Atlanta will be on tomorrow morning! Wish me luck! My town is completely out of gas.....YUCK!

My Wednesday

Ok, Where should I start. I guess I will start with this morning. I always work from home on Wednesday's. It's easier to get a few more things done for NARCONON if I am home because it's private and I can get personal with people if they would like to talk about DRUGS and/or ALCOHOL abuse. I did call in to check on the office of NARCONON today and we did get a new student which makes me happy. That is one more person that we can help get rid of their ADDICTION. The rest of my day went as follows....I had to take my son to get stitches out of his little head. I felt so bad...then we went to my in-laws house and had an awesome dinner. We came home and it is bath night for the boys so they got their bath and I changed their linens on their bed. (I can't stand dirty sheets!). Anyway, it's time for my bath and beddy bye time so I can get up in the morning and go to work at NARCONON and help more and more people get off of drugs. If they only knew what a sober life feels like. It makes a difference when you play with your children. It really does!I will blog tomorrow! Till then nite nite!

My Monday and this morning

Yesterday was a really awesome day at work at NARCONON. I got many things accomplished and there it seemed that the office was running smoothly all day. It did help that I was in an awesome Go NARCONON mood. We were contacted by several people wanting treatment either for themselves or their family members. It was great. I got to talk about how great NARCONON is. Well, this morning I tried to get to work but several factors stopped me but that's ok I can still help people from the house. If anyone needs anything they can call me at home or my cell. I never stop working for NARCONON. As I have said before it is a 24 hour a day business and I am on board no matter what the issue. Well, I must start working or I won't be able to help people get off of drugs and alcohol. I will blog later!

My weekend

Geez, my weekend.....Where to start. Well I didn't have to go into work at NARCONON this weekend but that never stops me from doing something a little extra. I enjoy my job so much that I continue doing it since rehab is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week job. Anyway, yesterday we ended up at my brother in laws house for a little family reunion and I got to see my inlaws, all my nephews and 1 niece and my great nephew. It was great! Of course that didn't stop me from working on NARCONON things. We had hamburgers, hotdogs on the grill. YUMMY! My brother in law can cook! We left there picked up my husbands waitress for work and then her daughter watched my boys at my house so I could get a little more work done, yeap you guess it NARCONON. Anyway, I finally laid down about 10:30pm and got up about 9am this morning. I decided I wasn't going anywhere today I was just going to check emails from NARCONON and my personal emails. So that is what I did but somehow I messed up my server so I can't send messages out right now. ARGH, it's so annoying. Anyway, I am going to get ready for a wonderful Monday at Narconon. I always love to go in even though sometimes I just can't get there because it is so far. But the drive is so well worth it when I see the recovery coming out of the building. Anyway, I will blog tomorrow night! Till then....thats my boring weekend :-)1-877-413-3073
